Photography has not been recognized as Fine Art until the mid-20th century. Though photos abound in our everyday experience, we rarely think of those images as art. Whether I'm capturing an article of clothing, products for advertising or posting "street and urbanscapes", it is all art to me.
The largest consumer of photo images are you and me. Newspapers documenting an event, a perfume bottle in Vogue or a waterfall in nature. We are seduced and emotionally affected one way or another. This compells us to understand a human event, buy a product or simply decorate our home and offices with meaningful images.
The next time you pick up a magazine, think of the creative process required to tell the story.
